Hosted by: prof. Zilvinas Lilas

This workshop will focus on the act of “objective” reconstruction or objectivity of an act of reconstruction as such.

Employing an apparatus of upmost objectivity – laser scanner EinscanPro, capable of sub-millimeter accuracy, we will search, scan and re-construct an object, (be it human, vegetable, mineral), device or any other conceivable form. As artists we have to go one step further and infuse our scans with symbolic meaning or subjectivity.

Some 3D knowledge (modeling) is desirable albeit not necessarily. The outcome of the workshop will be time based (video, animation etc.) or static image, 3D print.
